The House Oversight Committee has made public a set of roughly 70 images obtained from the property of late adjudicated individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the third release from a larger collection of in excess of 95,000 photos the body has secured from Epstein's property. It contains photographs of passages from the literary work Lolita written across a female's body, and obscured pictures of female foreign passports.

This disclosure occurs just hours before the December 19th due date for the DOJ to make public every records related to its investigation into Epstein.

"These new photographs raise further queries about exactly what the Department of Justice has in its holdings," said the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What's in the Photos Disclosed

Several of the photographs made public on Thursday show Epstein speaking with academic and activist Noam Chomsky on a private plane; Bill Gates standing next to a individual whose features is redacted; Steve Bannon sitting at a desk across from Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the most recent high-net-worth, prominent figures to be seen in Epstein property photos released by the House Oversight Committee - formerly disclosed pictures also include US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, ex- US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Showing up in the photos is not indication of any misconduct, and several of the photographed figures have stated they were not participating in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a press release accompanying the photograph release, Lawmakers on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein estate did not offer context or dates for the photographs.

"Photographs were picked to provide the public with transparency into a typical cross-section of the photographs received from the estate, and to give understanding into Epstein's circle and his profoundly troubling actions," the release reads.

The disclosure also includes a number of photos of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita penned in black ink across several locations of a female's body, such as her torso, foot, pelvis, and rear. Lolita recounts the tale of a adolescent who was manipulated by a older literature professor.

One passage from the work written across a female's torso states, "Lolita's name: the point of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a series of photographs of female identification and official papers from countries worldwide, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the details on the papers, such as identities and DOBs, is redacted but the committee stated in a announcement that the passports are associated with "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his co-conspirators were involved with".

A further photo shows Epstein positioned at a table in close proximity in the company of three individuals whose features have been obscured - one individual has her hand on Epstein's upper body under his garment, and a second is leaning to examine a adjacent laptop. Epstein appears to be aiding the third individual put on a wristband.

Another photo disclosed is a screenshot of digital messages from an unknown individual who says they have been sent "a number of girls" and are requesting "$$1,000 per girl".

Image Publication Occurs Before DOJ Due Date

The committee has thousands of images in its possession from the Epstein holdings, which are "both explicit and ordinary," its announcement on Thursday noted.

The oversight panel first issued a subpoena to the holdings of Epstein, who died in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while awaiting trial on accusations of human trafficking, in August.

The images and records the Epstein estate's representatives provided to the committee are different than what is often referred to "Epstein-related records". Those are documents within the justice department's control connected to its separate investigation into Epstein.

Under the Transparency Act, which the President signed into law in November, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to publish its documents. The scope of the contents found in the DOJ's documents is unknown, and it's probable that a significant portion of the content will be extensively redacted, akin to House Oversight Committee documents
